Horror Fiesta was a Success!
We had a great time at Horror Fiesta in Peoria Illinois. It was the first Horror convention held in that town, and it was our first time attending such an event. It was great to meet so many enthusiasts of the horror/slasher genre. We 'geeked out' talking to tons of fans about all the cheesy, campy, forgotten movies. And we came away with a whole bunch of suggestions for movies to watch. We're very excited for more conventions and excited to hopefully go back to Peoria next year.

Season 9 Brings Episode 150
That's right students. We're in our ninth season here at "the U" and with it comes our milestone episode 150. Now, we know if you count them all up individually, we've done more than 150 total episodes. But this is our 150th numbered episode, you know, one where we're covering a specific movie. And we only thought it was fitting to celebrate by covering one of the mainstream classics, the one responsible for so much more within the slasher genre, "Friday the 13th" from 1980. Go listen now! It was a blast!
